About the Show

Rick and Rose started Radio Zero back in 1998 to fill the time between tours with their band Poster Children. After a short stint on a Champaign, Illinois radio station, they've returned to their basement studio to talk about music, movies, parenthood and politics with each other and the occasional guest.

  1. NO!!! Don’t take 3 months off!!!

I really enjoyed this podcast. I look forward to it each week. I think I liked the fact that you guys just talked about whatever popped into your head….

I know…it’s sad…but Rick is right—I have 40 hours of computer time and I like to listen to podcasts and RadioZero is the shit.

I like when Rick rants about politics.
I like when you both talk about your toddler—and the voice is priceless “Can we go somewhere else now?”
I like when you talk about…well…whatever.

  2. Aaah! I think you were at the Shedd Aquariam (sic?) at the exact same time I was! Very strange. I was visiting with friends while looking for a new apartment in chicago (moving from minneapolis) Very strange. :)

BTW: The HMD Academy in Chicago is affiliated with your school, right Rose? I was thinking of studying something like tae kwon do when I move there.

So what’s the problem with coffee? Is it not punk rock anymore? What about “Drinking Black Coffee” by Black Flag?

  4. Please don’t take another three months off. I enjoy these ramblings.

I can happily say I am one of the five that listen to RadioZero. =)
